RemComm's software provides reliable data transfer and data management in the absence of commercial power, internet, telephone, and cellphone service. Using readily available laptop computers and handheld radios, RemComm's radio-based software technology reconnects communications.

MIDASBio, a reference laboratory startup created to commercialize new technology developed at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. Dr. Anna Lokshin has invented a revolutionary new process for highly accurate early-stage cancer detection using multiple biomarkers that are found in a drop of blood. The first test being developed is for ovarian cancer. Data is also being generated for follow-on tests including: breast, pancreatic, lung, head & neck. Currently, this opportunity is being incubated and funded by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
